Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Because you show no favoritism with nations and peoples, you have instructed us, commanded us, to go into all the world, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ, baptizing and making followers for you. Bless the work of our missionaries and the efforts of all the people of St. Paul’s that the gospel may be shared with countless souls, so that everyone who believes in Christ Jesus may receive forgiveness of sins through his name. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You have done marvelous things, Lord God. Because of Jesus, you judge all people evenhandedly. Everyone will be judged according to the righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. There is no distinction, for righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, to be received by the grace of faith. Keep us in this faith and help us tell of it joyously throughout the earth. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We bless you, Father, for calling us your children, having rebirthed us through keeping the commandment of God: believing on the one you sent, Jesus Christ. May we continue to conquer the world and its sin, and also death and the devil, through the victory of faith that overcomes the world. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Keep us in your love that our joy may be complete and full. Give us your gracious blessing to continue abiding in your Son so that our joy is not fleeting. To this point, we ask for an increase of faith and gifting for Brian and the Lord family, and that you bless their travels tomorrow. We ask for discernment in our congregation’s forthcoming vote. We thank you for the labors of all who have worked to make this week special and helpful. And finally, we pray for healing and peace for all who are suffering and mourning among us, especially those whom we name before you now… Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join Pastor Ryman on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
