Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Eternal God, we pray that you fill your church with your Holy Spirit. We ask you for the nourishment found in your word so that we may be strong in times of trial. Make the people of your church on earth firm and steadfast witnesses, strong in faith and understanding. Help us to love and serve you and seek your face in times of trials and temptation. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, teach us to proclaim your glorious resurrection so that all who hear this good news may come to believe and be saved. Help all in despair and give them the words to call out to you so that your salvation might be manifest in the hearts of all who seek your forgiveness. Help us believers remember that you are Lord of all, and that “everyone who believes in you will not be put to shame.” Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, we lift up all who serve you in every corner of the world. Strengthen all the missions you have established through the power of your word. Today, we pray for our mission partner, Naomi’s Heart. Nourish them in body and spirit and make the work of their hands fruitful according to your divine will. Teach all your churches and missions to strengthen and encourage each other so that we may better serve those whom you have called to your church by faith in your Son. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You have given us the greatest inheritance in your Son. Help us to share this gift with the children you have put into our care. Help us to raise them in the Scriptures and make us faithful teachers of your Word. Call us always to remember all the good that you have done for us, and all the many blessings you have given us. Make us joyful stewards of all that you bless us with, both great and small, that we might bless our neighbors as they need. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
