Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gracious Lord, hear our cries when we come to you. In dark times, bring us to the light of your face, through your words and promise of life. Give us clarity and gladness that we may always know you are the one who reaches down and rescues us from the pit and restores our lives. Make this church strong like a mountain in the proclamation of your faithfulness, that many might come and find mercy and praise your name. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, you alone are worthy! By your precious blood, you ransomed people for God from every tribe, language, people, and nation. It is in you alone that we have hope for all things. Create faith in the hearts of those who do not yet know you, that they may hear your words and believe. Give us steadfast faith to trust in your word in times of doubt and confusion. Make us compassionate that we might care for all to whom you entrust us, that in whomever we are called to serve, we might glorify you always. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, we pray for your church all over the world. Lead it with your Holy Spirit so it may be renewed and strengthened and confess your Son everywhere. We lift to you those who preach today amid persecution and in areas of the world where your word is not welcomed. If it be your will, turn the hearts of persecutors to repentance so they may become believers and proclaimers of your Son. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, we thank You for the bread and fish you provide us daily and also in your word and sacrament. Teach us, to receive all guests and visitors whom you bring to us in fellowship here and elsewhere with your love and peace. Help us to feed others and tend to them, as you have first fed and tended us. Inspire the hearts of those who have not yet embraced your victory over sin and death through your body. Bless them with the faith to trust that in you alone, they can find eternal life, forgiveness of sins, and everlasting peace. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. - Amen
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
